The Brief

As part of a multi-room home refurbishment, our clients desired a bespoke storage and display solution that tied in with the contemporary feel of the rest of the property. The solution needed to offer space for the client’s decorative items, a flatscreen TV mount and closed storage.

 

The Design

The Rimadesio Abacus living space system provided the perfect solution, designed to fit either side of the chimney breast and arranged to provide a pivoting TV display, walnut veneer cabinets and glass open shelving.

The Rimadesio Abacus system hangs from a wall-mounted frame covered by opaque grey glass panelling. The back panel allows the glass shelving and walnut storage elements to be securely attached with no visible brackets.

The sliding glass doors have an opaque grey frame, matching the finish of the wall panels behind. Behind the L-shaped sofa a vertical Bisque Lissett radiator provides an elegant wall feature.
