The Brief
The Rimadesio Self Eos display shelving and wall-mounted storage provided the perfect bespoke solution for our clients who wished to bring a contemporary, geometric style into their lounge.
The living room display formed part of a larger multi-room renovation project under-taken by Hobson’s Choice.
The Design
The Self Eos system, finished in bronze, follows a similar design language as the client's bulthaup b3 kitchen - clean lines, a high-quality finish and refined engineering.
The display needed to provide space for our client’s collection of decorative pieces of art, favourite books, and a large flat-screen TV/soundbar. To maintain a balanced appearance on either side of the chimney breast, shorter shelves and framed artwork on the left-hand side countered the TV display.
The Self Eos system features hidden LED illumination which creates a subtle low-level ambience in the living space.
Each piece of the Rimadesio Self Eos system is designed and manufactured specifically for the client’s project.
The slimline aluminium shelves have no visible joins or mounting brackets, appearing to float millimetres from the wall.
The storage unit features glass-fronted push-to-open drawers which glide effortlessly along smooth rails.
