Switch on to Swindon Event

As a proud Brand Ambassador of the ‘Switch on to Swindon’ campaign, we were delighted to welcome over 60 invited guests to experience our recently renovated flagship Swindon showroom.

Across the showroom vibrant conversation and the sounds of people enjoying delicious food and drink could be heard. Ambassadors joined us from across Swindon, representing many different business sectors and industries. All share a common goal, to develop the outward perception of Swindon and actively show the town as a place to do business and spend leisure time.

We were delighted to welcome Restaurant 56 from Sudbury House Hotel, Faringdon to our showroom. Chefs, Andrew Scott and Nick Bennett, ‘cooked up a storm’ in our working bulthaup b3 kitchen creating a range of delicious canapés and dishes.

Home Economists from BORA provided tasty delicacies for our guests to sample whilst showcasing the innovative downdraft extraction technology of their cooktop range.

Flint & Flame Knife skills demonstrator, Brian Stringer, taught guests finger position, correct knife selection and general safety when chopping a variety of vegetables, fruit and other food stuffs.

Throughout the evening guests explored the showroom, networking with other SOTS Ambassadors and talking to our Design Consultants about the products, their own homes and their ideas for future changes. It was a fantastic evening with a great atmosphere, captured perfectly in a short video by Ottrworks (below).
